Posted by Hyo Ji on 29th Aug 2015
Greeting from Guam, USA.
Here on the island, We have many techniques to fish with. Slow jigging is just one method that has been awesome fun to play around with. Bottom fishing without bait has been a blast. With our gear, we out fish others who don't jig like us 10:1. This jig, A141, is a very versatile jig. First, it flutters down very slow until it catches an edge. then it darts down a bit just to flutter again. Because of this action, I don't use it on big current days. it takes too long to get down and the line is more horizontal than we like, especially for jigging. However, this action drives the fish to bite! Awesome, awesome, awesome! Second, once on the bottom, keep it there on that portion of the water column. Again, I reiterate, the flutter action drives the fish to bite!. I have caught many variety of bottom species Thirdly, the versatility come in the fact that I medium pitch the jig through the mid and upper water column. It's shape makes a long sliding action. Again, I have hooked up many big fish. Trevally, Dog tooth tuna, Rainbow runners, just to name a few. And finally, when I get tired from all the work bringing it up, I can take a mid column break. Drop it back a short while, let it flutter a few second, so I can start up the retrieve again. I have hooked up this way as well, many time. Great Lure. Favorite colors: Green and pink/glow.

The cod & Pollock eat this one up. The pink glow with a gulp rigged about 2 foot above the jig is a winner. Don't leave the dock without it!
